The Rochester Raptors are preparing for their final game of the 2002 Spring season. They will play the Connecticut Crush in Hartford, Connnecticut on June 8th at 7:05 p.m.

The Crush defeated the Raptors at East Rochester High School on May 11th with a score of 19-0. The Crush has shut out the Maine Freeze (who the Raptors beat) by 41-0 and 45-0. "We would have loved to beat the Crush on our home turf," said Dalisia Crego, Owner/GM, "but we are still satisfied with our performance during the May 11th game. The defense was on the field most of the night, and held the Crush to 6 points until late in the 3rd quarter. We should be able to put more together offensively on June 8th."

The Raptors coaching staff now includes Sam Boyd, Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator; Chad Rose, Defensive Coordinator; George Judware, Offensive Line Coach; Bryant Carter, Assistant Coach; and Erskine Nero, Assistant Coach.
